As Henry Lee has recently lost his wife to cancer he reminisces about Keiko, a Japanese-American girl, whom he befriended and later became his first love just as everyone of Japanese descent is sent away to internment camps in WWII. A simple and touching story of young love and the bitter realities of war and race.
