The handouts had the wrong day.
And we have been meeting 9 years not 8. Wow, that is so cool!

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Book Group selection for October 2014. Every Fall we celebrate our freedom to read by selecting books from the banned book list. This year we are going to read:

Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Other Tales
by Robert Louis Stevenson

While reading  Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde ask yourself--
1. Why do you think this book has been banned?
2. Should it be banned from school and public libraries? Why?
3. Do you feel it is important to learn about banned/challenged books?

We will meet on October 15th at 6pm
